Ghost in the Shell Arise - Border 1: Ghost Pain

Once nuclear war is over, it is set in 2027, a year following. A self-propelled mine detonates a bomb in New Port City, which is still struggling from the war's aftermath. Then, a member of the military accused of taking bribes from arms dealers is shot dead. In the course of the investigation, Daisuke Aramaki, a member of the Public Security Section, comes upon Motoko Kusanagi, the military's 501st Secret Unit's cyborg hacker. It's possible that Kusanagi is the mastermind behind the bombing, according to Batou, a guy whose "eye never sleeps." Togusa, a detective with the Niihama Prefectural Police, is investigating his own murder and the shooting death of a prostitute. The chief of the 501st Secret Unit, Kurutsu, and cyborg agents are keeping a close eye on Motoko.
