Frankie, a squirrel with all the angles, returns to his woodland after emancipating from a rehabilitation zoo. He learns from his dim-witted best friend Cody, a porcupine and street-con, that while he was imprisoned, The A.C.O.R.N.S. Institute picked the entire forest clean (Alternative Cosmetic Oils for Regenerative Natural Skin-care). There was not a single acorn left behind. With winter approaching, this is a potentially fatal blow to all forest species. As a result, Frankie is forced to infiltrate the brand new, state-of-the-art, rodent-proof A.C.O.R.N.S. Processing Plant and reclaim all of the acorns! Though it appears to be an impossible crime, success would not only save his forest pals' lives, but would also allow Frankie a chance to win back Lola, a local "show squirrel." Unfortunately, Lola has been burned before by too many of Frankie's false promises.
