The Apache Indians have reluctantly accepted to relocate to a reserve established by the United States government. Not all Apaches adjust well to life as maize growers. Geronimo in particular is restless. Geronimo and thirty or so other warriors, pushed over the edge by the government's false promises and necessary acts, assemble an attack force that humiliates the government by eluding arrest.
