Martin, the trio not only begins to discover why people gravitate toward superheroes and superhero stories, but also how being a geek can help them live deeper, richer lives. Geek, and You Shall Find explains the stories behind the creation of various popular stories, including Superman, Star Wars, Game of Thrones, and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. In discussing how these characters and settings came to be, authors reveal how frequently they were inspired by real-life social concerns. Most importantly, by continuing to speak with fans who have been inspired by these inventions, this film illustrates how superheroes have the capacity to address these social challenges as well.
