Gavagai
An impossible translation of Norwegian poet Tarjei Vesaas' poems into Chinese is completed by German businessman Carsten Neuer in Norway. He hires Niko, a poor tour guide, to take him to the poet's home and inspiration spots. On the journey, Carsten encounters the ghost of his wife, while Niko copes with his girlfriend's pregnancy. Together, two very different men discover the transformative power of love, the limitations of language, and the universal desire for friendship.
