Friends & Lovers

A group of twenty-somethings, friends for ten years, travel to the ski slopes as Ian's father's guests. (Ian and his father are estranged because Ian's father worked too many hours when he was a child.) Dad has something to say, but Ian will not hear it. Meanwhile, David is gay and virginal; Ian's business partner, Keaton, is upset that his sister Jane is pregnant and has no plans to tell the father; Lisa is everyone's friend but no one's lover; and John, still stuck in adolescence, is always on the move. Carla, a German-born beauty, falls in love with Hans, a fast-talking ski instructor, and he brings her with him. David and Manny meet because they both enjoy playing chess. As relationships take unexpected turns, surprises abound.
