When the body of a guy is located entirely ruined in the swamps in Louisiana, the clinical private investigator Sam Rivers is designated to explore the murder. He takes a trip with the biologist Mary Callahan to the location where the victim lived in a drifting residence as well as he fulfills his friends and family. They find that Chinese snake-heads genetically engineered that come from an affluent hunter are attacking and eliminating the residents. While the group battles to survive, the hunter Jeff shows up with his team to search the predators.
