Colin, an aspirational young American businessman, is in negotiations with a prospective client, a wealthy Arab sheikh who is an avid pigeon enthusiast. The sheikh has attempted to purchase a champion pigeon multiple times, but the owner has consistently refused his offer. Colin offers the Sheikh a bargain in an attempt to earn his trust: if he convinces the owner to sell the champion pigeon, the sheikh will agree to do business with Colin's company. However, after meeting Jos, the pigeon's gruff owner, and Isabella, his granddaughter, Colin realizes that this task may not be as simple as he had imagined.
