Banksy is a world-renowned graffiti artist whose work can be found on walls ranging from post-hurricane New Orleans to the Palestinian West Bank separation barrier. Banksy has resisted all attempts to photograph him in order to avoid prosecution. Exit Through the Gift Shop tells the incredible true story of how an eccentric French shopkeeper turned documentary filmmaker attempted to locate and befriend Banksy, only to have the artist turn the camera back on its owner.
