In Elizabeth Is Missing, Glenda Jackson plays Maud, a woman with dementia who has to figure out what happened to her best friend, Elizabeth. It is based on Emma Healey's best-selling 2014 book. Afterward, Maud is sure that something bad has happened, and she sets out to solve the mystery. At the same time, her dementia is getting worse.
