Edge of Extinction

Humanity is on the edge of extinction 15 years after the end of the world as we know it. A civilisation no longer exists, food is scarce, and most people make a livelihood by robbing and murdering their neighbors. Unknown to the rest of the world, one little child struggles to survive in the bleak British countryside, where remaining away from others has proven to be essential to his survival. However, when he crosses contact with another group of survivors, he finds himself in the midst of a battle against an adversary far more terrible than any of them could have imagined.
