Eat Drink Man Woman
The movie is about a Chinese master chef named Chu (Si Hung Lung), who is retired and has lost his wife. He and his family live in modern Taipei, Taiwan. At the beginning of the movie, he lives with his three beautiful daughters, who are all single. As the movie goes on, each of the three daughters meets new men. When these new relationships work out, they break down the stereotypes and change how the family lives. Several scenes in the movie show how to cook gourmet Chinese food with skill and style. Since it's hard for family members to say how much they love each other, their Sunday dinners, where they serve elaborate dishes fit for a banquet, stand in for their feelings.
