Drive
A bio-energy module, implanted in Toby Wong's chest by his employers at Hong Kong's Leung Corporation, allows him to perform physical feats he otherwise would not be able to perform. Toby has managed to elude the grasp of the Leung Corporation and is on his way to Los Angeles, where a competing business has volunteered to remove the implant and restore his life. Once in San Francisco, Toby comes across— and, out of desperation, kidnaps— Malik Brodie, who is in possession of the means to transport him to Los Angeles. Professional killers Vic Madison and The Hedgehog, as well as junk-culture enthusiast The Hedgehog, are hot on Toby's trail, who is working as a bodyguard for Mr. Lau, the president of the Leung Corporation.
