Downtown '81
The movie depicts a day in the life of a young artist named Jean-Michel Basquiat. Basquiat is trying to raise money so that he may move back into the flat that he was evicted from. As he makes his way across the city carrying a painting that he is trying to sell, he runs into friends, and we get a glimpse into their lives as well as their performances.
