Down
After the elevators in a New York City building mysteriously fail, endangering the lives of its passengers, mechanic Mark Newman (James Marshall) and reporter Jennifer Evans (Naomi Watts) launch separate investigations. Newman faces opposition from his company's authorities, as other elevator incidents result in several grisly deaths. The police become involved and suspect terrorists, but a far weirder reason emerges.
