Dominion: Prequel to the Exorcist

Haunted by the atrocities committed by the Nazis, dissatisfied Father Lankester Merrin devotes his talents to assisting with an archaeological dig in northern Kenya. There, the crew discovers a church that predates the arrival of Christian missionaries in the area, but the discovery also triggers weird happenings, including bodily changes in a young, crippled boy whom Merrin suspects has been possessed by a demon.
