Dizzy Detectives

The three stooges are former carpenters who became police officers. The police are mystified by a strange thief masquerading as a gorilla, and the chairman of the citizens league, Mr. Dill, is threatening the police chief's employment. The boys act as night watchmen at an antiques store in order to investigate a crime. They approach the criminal, who turns out to be a genuine gorilla that Dill owns. After defeating Dill and several other villains in a chaotic battle, the gorilla consumes nitroglycerin and explodes.
