Distant Journey
The story of Hana, a Jewish eye doctor who falls in love with and marries a Gentile named Tonk, is told in Distant Journey. When the government begins the systematic killing of Jews, their sweet love story turns into a nightmare for them and their families. Hana's family is deported to Theresienstadt, and the relationship quickly turns into a survival struggle for the couple.
