Dev.D
Dev seeks refuge in drugs and liquor after spurning Paro's love owing to a misunderstanding. Paro moves on, but Dev's guilt remains. He meets Chanda, a prostitute with her own difficulties. Dev likes Chanda, but his proclivity towards self-destruction stops them from getting together. He also meets shady characters such as Chunni, Chanda's pimp, who drives Dev deeper into self-destruction in order to satisfy his own desires.
