1897. Dead for a Dollar takes veteran bounty hunter Max Borlund deep into Mexico, where he meets professional gambler and bandit Joe Cribbens—a bitter rival whom Max had imprisoned many years previously. Borlund is on a mission to find and return Rachel Kidd, a wealthy Santa Fe businessman's kidnapped wife.
