Confucius
As a commoner revered for his wisdom, Kong Ze (Confucius) is made Minister of Law in the ancient Kingdom of Lu in 500 BC. Lu rises to new heights under Lu's leadership, but the warlike nation of Qi wants to take it over. When a powerful neighbor is threatening to destroy them, a desperate people turn to their best teacher for help. As soon as Confucius beats the odds and wins, the aristocracy wants to get rid of him. But they should never underestimate a person who has a lot of wisdom and is more powerful than the sword.
