Conan the Barbarian

Conan the Barbarian, the archetypal hero of the sword and sorcery genre, will be adapted for the big screen. Conan's parents are murdered by a band of marauding warriors, and the little boy is taken captive and forced to spin the Wheel of Pain for many years. Conan is the only child to survive a massacre when he was young, and as a result, he is the only one to be freed from servitude and taught the old martial arts. Conan decides to seek vengeance on Thulsa Doom, the individual who was responsible for the deaths of his family members, by transforming himself into a killing machine and traveling into the woods. Conan associates himself with the robbers Valeria and Subotai while he is out in the wilderness. The gang stumbles upon King Osric, who requests the assistance of the three warriors in rescuing his daughter from Doom, who has taken refuge in the surrounding hills.
