Flint and his companions are forced to flee the town following the devastation caused by the terrible food storm in the first film. To help clean up the island, Flint accepts an invitation from his hero Chester V to join The Live Corp Company, a group comprised of some of the world's most talented inventors. Flint and his companions must return to save the world when they discover that Flint's machine still works and spawns mutant food animals like live pickles, hungry tacodiles, shrimpanzees, and apple pie-honors.
