Christmas Joy

Joy Holbrook works as a corporate market researcher, and she is vying for a position of leadership within her company. Joy learns that her Aunt Ruby has fractured her ankle and will be undergoing surgery just as her company's CEO is taking attention. Despite the inconvenient scheduling, Joy makes her way back home to Crystal Falls, North Carolina, to be with her aunt and family. While in the hospital, Joy runs into her ex-boyfriend, Ben Andrews. The stars appear to be in perfect alignment. At first, Joy's whole emphasis is on assisting her Aunt in her recovery, including taking over her position as chair of the local Cookie Crawl competition, which she had previously held. Eventually, she begins to let Ben into the house and realizes that there is no place like home during the holidays. The Cookie Crawl is a collaborative effort between the two of them to ensure its success.
