Claire (Alexandra Breckenridge), a savvy venture capitalist from New York City, escapes to a quaint Vermont town for the holidays and becomes a guest of the Fortenbury Bookstore. Claire discovers that the town has canceled Christmas celebrations due to a flood, and the bookstore is in disrepair. She accepts the challenge to revitalize the store right away, but she clashes with the owner, Andrew (Jamie Spilchuk), who initially rejects all of her proposed improvements. Sparks fly as the two begin a budding romance, and Claire's contagious optimism inspires Andrew to join her in reviving the holiday spirit.
