Chihayafuru Part I

As an elementary school student, Chihaya met Arata Wataya and became friends. Previously with Fukui Prefecture, Arata Wataya made the move to Tokyo. Since they were children, Taichi Mashima has been Chihaya Ayase's friend. When Arata was playing karuta with Chihaya and Taichi, he became acquainted with them. Now, four years later, Chihaya is a senior in high school. Atato returned to Fukui Prefecture and has stopped playing karuta. Chihaya and Taichi form a karuta group at their high school in the hopes of running into Arata once again.
