Merida is the princess of a kingdom ruled by King Fergus and Queen Elinor in the magical Scottish Highlands. Merida is a bad daughter and a good archer. One day, she breaks a sacred rule of the land and accidentally causes trouble in the kingdom. Merida goes to a strange old Wise Woman to try to make things right, but her wish turns out to be bad. The three lords of the kingdom, Lord MacGuffin, Lord Macintosh, and Lord Dingwall, also play a role in Mérida's quest. Lord MacGuffin is huge, Lord Macintosh is grumpy, and Lord Dingwall is just plain mean.
