Blue Jasmine
Formerly a prominent New York socialite, Jasmine French is now coming to her estranged sister in San Francisco absolutely devastated. Jasmine attempts to recuperate in the present as she struggles with her disturbing recollections of a privileged past containing horrible realities she neglected. Unfortunately, it all becomes futile as Jasmine's narcissistic compulsions and their repercussions begin to overpower her. In doing so, her old pretensions and new deceits begin to disrupt the lives of everyone, including her own.
