A little community in Spain welcomes its first ever resident physician. He is taken aback by the peculiar actions of the locals almost as soon as he makes his first acquaintance with members of the community there. When he tries to question about the problem, young people make fun of him, and a man named Gonzalo appears to be some type of leader. Additionally, he is invited to leave the hamlet when he does so. All his questions get no answer. His next-door neighbor is a young lady who is both attractive and pretty, and she works as a teacher in the neighborhood. They strike up an honest friendship from the very beginning, which eventually blossoms into love between the two of them. Unfortuitously, Gonzalo has the perception that the young instructor is "reserved" solely for him, and as a result, he responds with aggressive behavior. In the meantime, the doctor has discovered what the cause of that odd behavior was. A number of drug addicts raided the town a number of years ago, while it was celebrating its annual feast, in order to steal money and valuables. There was a battle, and several individuals, including Gonzalo's son, lost their lives as a result. After that point, Gonzalo and a few other people started their own "crusade" against people who were addicted to drugs.
