Black Belt Jones
Jones used to be a secret agent, but now he mostly teaches martial arts to kids from poor neighborhoods. Pops, played by Scatman Crothers, is in charge of the karate school. He's a nice old man who runs the place. His gambling debts, on the other hand, make the local thug, Pinky, come down hard on him, though. Pinky is then hired by white thugs who want to get the land Pops' school is on so they can build a shopping mall. It's Black Belt Jones' job to help when things get heavy. Only he's not by himself. She is Sidney, Pops' daughter, and she comes over to help. She shows that she is just as good a martial artist as Jones.
