Becket
King Henry II of England is at odds with the Church. When the Archbishop of Canterbury dies, he has a brilliant idea. Rather than appointing another pious cleric loyal to Rome and the Church, he will appoint Thomas Becket, a technically a deacon of the church, to the post. Becket, on the other hand, takes the job seriously and provides a more capable opponent to Henry.
