Alastair Fothergill and Keith Scholey document a year in the lives of Sky, an Alaskan brown bear, and her cubs, Scout and Amber. Their story begins when the bears emerge from hibernation at the end of winter. With the passage of time, the bear family must work together to find food and avoid other predators, particularly other bears. Although their world is exciting, it is also dangerous, and the cubs' survival is dependent on family unity.
