Barbed Wire Dolls
Maria da Guerra is condemned to life in jail for murdering her father, who had attempted to rape her. The wardress is a callous lesbian who lacks compassion and humanity. Maria is sent to a special section for mentally unstable prisoners, where abuse and rape are a daily occurrence. The Regional Governor appears one day, claiming to have received a letter from one of the prisoners detailing unbelievable happenings within the prison. The letter's author was evidently ignorant that the Governor was also a conspirator. Carlos Costa, a male nurse posing as prison doctor Moore, develops feelings for Maria. Maria murders him with a pair of scissors after seducing him and flees with her friends Bertha and the unstable Rosario, expecting to find refuge in the Governor's residence, unaware that he will not assist them...
