Barbara
It is summer 1980 in East Germany, and Barbara is alone, restricted to living and working as a doctor in a small provincial town as a punishment for attempting to move to the West. She is just concerned with one thing: escaping, which requires patience. Until Andre, her hospital supervisor, diverts her. Are his motivations pure love or a sense of obligation to the authorities? As the strain rises, the daily pretense and content oversight gradually take their toll.
