The tie of brotherhood is always stronger when you can be thrust into a life-or-death situation at any moment, and the only thing that pulls you through the fire is your brother's support. The firefighters of Hong Kong's Pillar Point division are expecting a quiet night to bid farewell to their retiring chief when a tiny fire at a liquor warehouse threatens to plunge the entire city into darkness if it spreads to a neighboring power station that supplies natural gas. When questionable judgments are made, warnings are disregarded, and colleagues begin to fall, politics, rivalry, and suspicion all come into play. Can the brotherhood of Pillar Point escape the night, if not the fire, with their mutual trust intact?
