Antonia's Line
After WWII, Antonia and her daughter, Danielle, return to their Dutch hometown, where Antonia's late mother has left her a small farm. Antonia settles down and joins a close-knit but unusual community. Those around her include Crooked Finger, a would-be suitor named Bas, and, eventually for Antonia, a granddaughter and great-granddaughter who help build a strong family of empowered women.
