An Early Rain
Cheol (Shin Seong-il), a humble car mechanic, and Yeong-hui, a maid at the French ambassador's home, meet by coincidence one rainy day. Cheol is driven by a strong desire to succeed. He claims to be the son of a businessman and the owner of a luxury automobile when he informs Yeong-hui that he is the son of a businessman. Attracted to Cheol, Yeong-hui also claims to be the daughter of the French ambassador, and the two agree to meet only on rainy days when she may conceal her true identity by donning an expensive French raincoat. Cheol and Yeong-hui continue to go on romantic rainy-day outings, and their love grows stronger by the day...
