Melvin, a reluctant hero who is far from extraordinary, has been suppressing his telekinetic powers with booze, drugs, and women for years. His failures have been numerous, the most significant of which has been his failure as a dad to his son. Having survived a near-death experience, Melvin chooses to use his supernatural abilities for the greater good and clean up the streets of New Orleans with the assistance of Lucille, his best friend who is most definitely not a sidekick in the traditional sense. It may be a conflict that even a guy who is capable of the unthinkable cannot overcome.
