Tower Records, founded in1960, was once a retail behemoth with over 200 locations throughout thirty countries and five continents. Tower Records grew from humble beginnings in a small-town pharmacy to become the heart and soul of the music world and a dominant force in the music industry. Tower Records earned a billion dollars in 1999. The business declared bankruptcy in 2006. How did this happen? Everybody believes they know why Tower Records failed: the Internet. That is not, however, the case. All Things Must Pass is a feature documentary film that chronicles the spectacular rise, sad demise, and legacy of this renowned enterprise founded by the rebellious Russ Solomon.
