Kyle Cassidy, a failed artist, is over over heels in love with Nikki Duke, the charismatic wife of an abusive rock star on tour. Nikki passes out and hits her head after a wild night at the Dukes' Hollywood Hills estate. Kyle dials 911 out of a drug-induced terror. When two newly partnered paramedics arrive on the scene, they rouse Nikki, treat Kyle, and then attempt to rob the duo-a scheme that swiftly goes awry, sending the trio on a dark, funny odyssey through the night in Los Angeles.
