Aftermath
Nine strangers find themselves trapped together in a farmhouse cellar in rural Texas, searching for a happy conclusion to an unfathomable tale of calamity and terror. The United States has rushed into World War III. A young doctor named Hunter survives the nuclear attack and is thrown together by chance with a group of injured and fearful victims, including Elizabeth, Hunter's strong-willed confidant, Brad, an antagonistic redneck jackass, and Jennifer, a barely coherent young woman suffering from severe post-traumatic stress. They attempt to survive the devastation of the holocaust together, battling claustrophobia and opposing egos. Hunter and his dying pals wait for government news in an improvised shelter, battling off starvation, radiation sickness, and a mob of terrified and dying refugees.
