Afterimage
In1945, Wladislaw Strzeminski, a great painter, refuses to compromise his art with social realism. Persecuted and ousted from his University chair, he is eventually obliterated from museum walls. And so he begins to battle against the Party, becoming a symbol of artistic resistance against intellectual oppression.
