A Woman in Berlin

In the spring of 1945, the Russians invaded Berlin. A nameless woman kept a diary while the Russians were there. As a patriotic journalist in her early 30s, she has a lot of experience around the world. Her husband is an officer on the Russian front, and he is a well-known writer. It takes her a day or two after the invasion to keep herself safe, but then rapes start. She wants to be in charge of her own fate.
