A Special Day

The film is set in the late 1930s, at the time of Mussolini and Hitler's first meeting. When her fascist husband leaves her in her tenement home to attend the historic event, Antonietta strikes up a friendship with her homosexual neighbor Gabriele. As the day gives way to night, Antonietta and Gabriele form a special bond that will drastically alter both of their perspectives on life.
