A Silent Voice

Because she is deaf, Shouya Ishida begins to bully the new girl in class, Shouko Nishimiya. As the taunting continues, however, the rest of the class begins to view Shouya negatively due to his lack of sympathy. Shouko and Shouya do not talk to one another again after they leave elementary school... until an older, wiser Shouya, troubled by his past actions, decides he must see Shouko once more.
