Sailor Johannes Blom returns to his home port, after seven years at sea, to locate that Sally, the woman he has been considering while away, is completely hopeless. 7 years previously, obstreperous Alexander Blom, brings his mistress Sally to cope with him, his partner Alice, child Johannes, as well as crew, aboard the salvage watercraft he captains.
