Teenagers are dropping like flies in a small village, supposedly due to mass hysteria, which is prompting their suicides. Nancy Thompson, a cop's daughter, links the crime to child molester Fred Krueger, who was burned alive by enraged parents many years ago. Krueger has now reappeared in the nightmares of his killers' children, claiming their lives as his vengeance. Nancy and her lover, Glen, must design a strategy to entice the monster out of his nightmares and into the real world...
