A Fire in the Cold Season

A whisper among central Newfoundland's huge woodlands and mill towns. A body discovered on the bank of a river draws together a recluse fur trapper and a heartbroken expectant mother. Scott is lonely and desperate to find meaning in his life. Mona has a strong will but is frustrated by her frailty.
