A Field in England

An overgrown meadow serves as a makeshift escape route for a small band of deserters fleeing from a furious fight during the English Civil War in the 17th century. Their capture by an alchemist who forces them to assist him in his search for a hidden treasure he believes to be buried in the field results in the group's capture by the alchemist. The group quickly descends into a chaos of arguments, fighting, and paranoia after crossing a vast mushroom circle, which serves as their first meal. As it becomes clear that the treasure may be something other than gold, the group becomes increasingly vulnerable to the terrifying energies trapped within a nearby field.
