Nerdy Walter Paisley (Dick Miller), a clumsy busboy in a beatnik café, tries to seduce Carla (Barboura Morris) by making a bust of her. When his carelessness kills his landlady's cat, he panics and buryes it in plaster. When Carla and her friends rave about the artwork, Walter decides to employ the same creative method to make larger and more sophisticated pieces.
